Back up Existing User Databases

From the Start menu select Run and then type: regedit and hit ENTER . The Registry Editor will open.

Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Seattle Lab > SLmail > Users . From the Menu at the top of the dialog box, select Registry, Export Registry File and a Save As dialog box will open.

Select a location to save the file and use a .reg file extension. For example: users_original.reg.

Repeat the Export of the Registry file for the (whole) VirtualDomains file.

Confirm that the exported registry files can be reimported by double-clicking on them. If you receive an error message you will need to repeat the process. If the reimport is successful you will see a dialog box that states that the information in the file has been successfully entered in to the registry.
