SLnet lets you go wireless today, without the hassle of extensive application rewrites or the investment of learning new and cumbersome wireless APIs. SLnet provides more than just simple Telnet access to your applications.

Supports Serial Devices

SLnet functions to provide other serial devices – such as barcode readers, time clocks and cash registers – with a dedicated computer connection. With SLnet running on a Windows 2000 or 2003 server, users can access the server to perform text mode command-line operations and run any character-based application.

Two Levels of Time Out

SLnet contains two new levels of definable “time-out” features. This includes the clean up of processes when connections drop, as well as inactivity time-outs so that clients are logged off after specified periods of no reported activity.

Smaller Screen Sizes

SLnet supports smaller screen sizes, situations where clients do not handle wrapping, and sending larger packets.

SLNet RF telnet software allows:
